US-based software firm SafetyChain Software has announced that Dole Fresh Vegetables, a leading producer of fresh fruits and vegetables, has implemented SafetyChain for Food solution, in order to strengthen food safety.
SafetyChain Software's SafetyChain for Food is designed to help food and beverage industry manage safety and quality compliance in real time - by preventing non-compliant ingredients, raw materials and finished product from coming in or going out.
SafetyChain for Food's modules include Supplier Compliance & Management, Safety & Quality Data Reporting, HACCP and GFSI Compliance and Customer & Finished Product Compliance.
The company noted SafetyChain for Food will enable Dole to ensure supplier compliance, conduct immediate food safety assessments, respond to audits, and achieve real time food traceability.
