US-based packaging equipment machinery manufacturer BestPack.com has announced the launch of the Green Sealing Solution, wherein the installation of 6” random semi-automatic taping machines and acrylic printed tapes can help companies reduce impact on the environment.
According to BestPack.com, the eco-friendly packaging solution works by reducing corrugated usage up to 17% and the decrease happens as 1.5" are cut off from major and minor flap lengths.
The flaps which are unnecessary are replaced with newly-developed 6" acrylic printed tapes, providing security and savings for companies. Carbon footprints are reduced since there is a decline in excessive packaging, which reduces the 66mt of solid waste in California alone.
The tapes used in BestPack's Green Sealing Solution provides added security to the items enabling companies to save in theft and pilferage protection.
